Silver Ships Delivers AM950 Patrol Boat to California Department of Fish and Wildlife

Silver Ships recently delivered an Ambar 950 (AM950) patrol boat to the California Department of Fish and Wildlife’s Law Enforcement Division in Sacramento, California. This boat will be used by the Marine Enforcement District’s Wardens, supporting the district’s mission of protecting California’s natural resources and providing public safety with effective and responsive enforcement.
This AM950 patrol boat was custom-built for the Wardens who patrol California’s 1,100 miles of coastline. The offshore patrol boat is specifically constructed for the highly dynamic marine environments in this region, to aid in enforcing recreational and commercial fishing regulations and protecting California’s robust marine ecosystem.
The AM950 is powered by twin Yamaha 350 HP Outboards, providing the speed necessary for fast response up and down the California coastline. The enclosed cabin provides Wardens with air conditioning and protection from the elements, allowing them to engage in more extensive patrol missions.

Silver Ships conducted crew familiarization training with the Wardens who will operate this boat, ensuring they are prepared to use the boat for the missions they perform every day.
