Silver Ships, Inc. was founded by Mike McCarty in 1985 and has built high-quality aluminum workboats for a variety of marine sectors throughout the years. In 1996, the company moved to its current location in Theodore, Ala. and has grown to include 95,000 sq. ft. of production facilities and an on-site accredited Naval Architect and Engineering staff. Steven Clarke joined the leadership team in 2015 as Chief Financial Officer, and is now Co-Owner of Silver Ships.

Want an example of our boats’ durability? The first boat we built back in 1985 is still in operation. It’s a testament to the quality of work we’ve prided ourselves on since the beginning.

No boat malfunctions so far as we approach our 25 year anniversary since delivery. Your new designs on your website give us goose bumps, but we have another anniversary planned for this boat!”
