Silver Ships Attends Firehouse Expo

Silver Ships is honored to work closely with the fire/rescue industry to provide the latest technology and innovation in fire boat building practices. When responding to emergencies on the water, it is imperative to have the proper equipment and crew to handle the situation. Silver Ships fire boats are built for speed and versatility while keeping safety and durability top of mind. We have the ability to custom design and build every vessel to match the specific mission requirements unique to each client.

Firehouse Expo is the fastest growing fire-service event in North America. This year’s event will include more than 350 exhibitors offering training, informational sessions and a behind-the-scenes look at the industry’s latest tools and technology. By hosting a booth at this event, we are able to network with industry professionals to learn more about the capabilities they value and what we can do to continue evolving our building processes. Meeting with leaders in the fire and rescue field provides invaluable insight into how we can help them more safely and efficiently perform their roles.

Silver Ships recently commissioned a multi-mission vessel for the East Hampton Town Police and fire departments. This 38-foot vessel supports multiple government agencies, including search and rescue missions, law enforcement and firefighting. The boat includes many special enhanced features such as shock absorbing seats, upgraded side-sonar scans, remote fire monitoring on the roof and a full walk-around cabin with the ability to transfer patients. It even has the capability to serve in place of the U.S. Coast Guard should the situation arise. For more information on this vessel and our other boat commissions, visit our website or drop by and see us at the event.

Firehouse Expo is October 17-21 at the Music City Center in Nashville, Tennessee. We will be stationed at booth 559 to answer questions about our fire boats, building customization capabilities and more. Stop by to meet our team and be sure to interact with us and Firehouse Expo on social media. We can be found on Facebook and Instagram @SilverShips, and make sure to use #FHExpo17 to join the show’s conversation.
